Winter has all but left us and its about time for some great Spring time fishing. There's always much going on this time of year, but if you can, try to lend a hand at one of our upcoming work days. It's surprising how much fun work can be. Stay informed by attending our monthly meetings. Our Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month 7pm in the Gander Mountain Lodge, by the Galleria. Plan to attend and learn how you can help conserve our coldwater fisheries in the area. Also, be sure to check our calendar of events for upcoming fly tying classes.

The Mountain Laurel Chapter of Trout Unlimited (MLTU) will host a “SOCIAL” on Wednesday April 23 beginning at 6:00 PM at Rizzo’s in Windber. The event will include an all you can eat Italian Feast, door prizes and a special presentation by Len Lichvar and Greg Shustrick on angling opportunities and conservation in the Quemahoning Creek watershed in Somerset County. The cost is $25.00 a person and reservations are required to 814-467-4034.
