With deer hunting seasons and Christmas over many of our thoughts turn to spring and some warmer weather, but there's still plenty to enjoy during the winter months. Now is a great time to replenish your flies you lost last year. If you don't know how to tie, be sure to check out our tying classes. Check the Event Calendar for dates and times. Also, don't forget about the Fund Rasing Banquet on March 24. This is our primary fund raiser for the year. Also be sure to stop in for our monthly meetings. Our Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month 7pm in the Gander Mountain Lodge, by the Galleria. Plan to attend and learn how you can help conserve our coldwater fisheries in the area.

  • Our monthly meetings will be:
    January 10, 2012
    February 14, 2012
    March 13, 2012
Plan to attend to insure you get work dates on your calendar, learn about issues threatening our fisheries, voice your concerns, and have a laugh or two!! Learn about our fishwater plan , as we look into a NEW tail-water fishery in our area. Show our veterans you care as we work with Project Healing Waters teaching our wounded veterans the healing powers of fly fishing. We look forward to seeing you this year!

Hopefully everyone is enjoying the holiday seasons and the beauty of winter. Just because its cold doesn't mean you can't go fishing, its a great time to be on the water. Be sure to mark your calendar for the Fund Raising Banquet on March 24. If you are interested in helping in any way, contact Gary Cooper at 266-4763.
